We are a technology focused company that provides innovative informatics products to the life sciences industry. Our products are centered around our proprietary semantic search and integration engine DistilBio.

Metaome was founded by Kalpana and Ram, both with focused informatics experience in the life sciences. We started out as a bioinformatics services company. In 2010, we reinvented ourselves as a product company and were incubated at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). We received seed funding from the Department of Information Technology (DIT) to develop our core technology DistilBio. We currently have offices set up in Bangalore and Boston. What started as three person company has now grown to a team of fourteen.
